Levon Ter-Petrosyan and Stepan Demirchyan will top the ticket of the opposition Armenian National Congress (ANC) in the forthcoming parliamentary elections, Stepan Minasyan, Board Secretary, People’s Party of Armenia (PPA), yesterday told "Haykakan Zhamanak" daily.

"It is common opinion that Ter-Petrosyan and Demirchyan must top the ticket. They, as undisputed leaders enjoying popularity throughout the country must rank first and second respectively,” Minasyan said following the PPA Council sitting.

On Monday, a meeting at the ANC central office discussed the ANC ticket," the newspaper writes.
