Starbucks bans even electronic cigarrettes in war on smokers

No more cups of coffee and cigarettes at the world's biggest chain of coffee shops. Starbucks stated on Friday that it will ban smoking in outdoor areas of its locations and within 8 metres of its shop doors starting on Saturday.
The company already bans smoking inside its coffee shops.

The ban, which will also for some reason apply to electronic cigarettes, and will come into force at all 7,000 of the company-owned stores in the United States, however licensed franchises will be exempt.
