The Bernabéu: "We love Mourinho, we love him not."

The Portuguese manager, who was whistled at by most of the Bernabéu faithful when his name was announced though the sound system, refused to take his place in the dugout until the game started in an attempt to stop photographers from immortalising the moment.

Mou came out just as the match kicked off and photographers swarmed into the technical area en masse, forcing the referee to stop the game whilst Mourinho showed his disapproval with the photographers.

Throughout the match, chants of support for Mourinho echoed from the Bernabéu's south stand, where the club's most radical fans were. These were answered with whistles from most other fans inside the ground.
