Arbeloa bids Mou cheerio: “Thanks for everything boss!”

Real Madrid full-back Álvaro Arbeloa bid farewell to José Mourinho and the rest of Madrid’s coaching staff by publishing a photograph on Twitter of them all sat together in the dug-out at Valdebebas. Arbeloa accompanied the photograph with a message which read: “Thank you very much for everything. It has been a pleasure working with all of you. I wish you all the best. See you soon my friends...”

Arbeloa wasn’t the only one to post a message thanking the coach, José Callejón published the famous ‘Yoda’ picture of himself giving Mou a piggyback ride on the touchline at Mestalla. Mourinho leapt onto the player’s back to toast Cristiano Ronaldo’s winner against Valencia in November 2011 and repeated his unorthodox celebration during Madrid’s league title festivities last year.

Callejón wrote: “Two unforgettable years!! For me, it’s been a pleasure; I wish you the very best. Thanks boss, see you soon!”
