Defense Minister: "Such cases must not go unpunished."

Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan on June 2 invited an urgent meeting on the occasion of an incident at the Military Institute after V. Sargsyan, which was attended by Deputy Minister of Defence, the Chief of the General Staff and the Chiefs of the Armenian Defense Ministry and General Staff. The press secretary of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia Artsrun Hovhannisyan informed about that.

Referring to the incident, Seyran Ohanyan, in particular, said: "This is a great sorrow for us, it is doubly tragic because it took place in an educational institution for the training of future officers. For us, these phenomena are not allowed. In any way they need to be eradicated in the Armed Forces. Such cases should not go unpunished." Minister instructed to conduct a detailed investigation and punish those responsible.
