More than 140,000 suffered from heavy rains in Columbia

Nearly 29,000 families which, in total, count more than 140,000 people, have born losses as a result of heavy rains in Columbia, Latin American media sources say.
According to Columbian rescue services, about one third of the total of 1,100 Columbia’s cities, towns and villages are now touched by the rains.
Heavy rains started in Columbia in March, which is the usual start of the season of rains in that country. Within this time, the rains totally destroyed 700 and partially damaged more than 14,000 houses. No human casualties have been reported.
