Art of debarment

The fact that day by day struggle is heating up in the National Assembly of Armenia, resulting in already aggravated difficult situation of society, is a fact, but the fact that this fight is just quoted struggle of existence for MPs, it has higher ethical standards, although on which ethics can be discussed in Parliament.

It's no secret that the main struggle between parliament deputies conducted for only one thing, namely, for the international working visits. This struggle was arisen in the National Assembly a few years ago, when the Republic of Armenia was in the stage of formation (which, by the way, continues to this day) and was faced with the task of relations with the international community, then the deputies started this fight for free travel.

By the way, we have recently witnessed a bright manifestation of this fact, when a delegation from Armenia should be presented in Brussels. It is noteworthy that in this case the fight can go even between two MPs of one party, may turn into a quarrel, a fight, and then fray.

However, at a recent parliamentary hearing, when Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan presented the new government's program and was waiting for its approval in parliament, "mini" clashes occured between the opposition and the government. Things went so far that even the microphones were turned off. There were predictions, saying the Minister of Education and Science and the Minister of Justice were expected a brutal beating, then migration and so on, but the most important thing happened right after the hearing. It turned out that Parliament Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan because of the behavior of the opposition decided to close for the deputies of the opposition doors leading to France, Belgium, Spain and other European and non-European countries.

Given the fact that a few months ago, the elite of "Prosperous Armenia" performed in the Parliament with the imperatives and accused some members of "Heritage" in the organization of "rest" in foreign countries at the expense of the state budget, we have to admit that today the situation has radically changed. Both the charging party and the accused have been changed. And now all other situations have changed, because from now on only the Speaker of the Parliament will decide who will go to foreign countriesand, in all likelihood, they will be exactly from the Republican Party, which, despite their wealth and property, will not be against to discover a few more countries and, most importantly, at the expense of the state.

And in this case it does not matter whether these people have the necessary intellectual qualities, whether they have the level that should have the person or figures, who represent the country. It does not matter what kind of impression on the international community the delegation from Armenia will have, as only a few people can make a decision in Armenia, preventing the natural development of the country, contributing to degradation and regression.
