Moscow and Tbilisi to discuss situation in Georgia’s separatist regions

The Special Representative of the Prime Minister of Georgia for Relations with the Russian Federation Zurab Abashidze has left for the Czech Republic to meet with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Grigory Karasin.
The sides will discuss developments in the conflict zone on the border, Zurab Abashidze said before leaving for Prague on Tuesday at Tbilisi International Airport.
"We cannot ignore the situation at the administrative border. Kidnapping and the entire humanitarian situation is very tense, this of course, should be underlined. Besides, there are certain issues we have been discussing within the last six months. We will summarise the work done after the start of the dialogue," Zurab Abashidze said.
Grigory Karasin and Zurab Abashidze will meet on June 5.
