Anonymous hack Turkish govt networks, leak emails
Turkey
Turkish government computer networks were hacked compromising private and rather sensitive information of PM Erdogan staffers, including the Prime Minister's. The Anonymous groups arranged the attack in support of the ongoing anti-government protests.
Allegedly, staff email accounts were accessed after a phishing attack, and those affected were cut off from the network.
Anonymous hacked the Prime Minister’s official website (basbakanlik.gov.tr) and gained access to staff email addresses, passwords and phone numbers, the group said in a press release.
