"Haykakan Zhamanak": President Serzh Sargsyan forbade Tsarukyan to buy Tumanyan`s house.

Though PAP Chairman Gagik Tsarukyan obtained the agreement to buy Hovhannes Tumanyan's house in Tbilisi, according to informed sources, president Serzh Sargsyan demanded from PAP leader to give up his intention, "Haykakan Zhamanak" daily writes.

President Sargsyan explained his position by the fact, that it is unacceptable to make Tumanyan's name as pre-election campaign subject. He promised to organize the purchase in the way that it won't be accepted as PR in favor of the Republican Party. The authoritive sources of the newspaper also clarify why the solution of this task was put on Vandan Ghukasyan. Serzh Sargyan in this way punishes Gyumri city mayor for not being able to avoid the scandal connected with "Aleksandrapol" hotel. To note, during the anniversary days of Dec. 7, 1988 earthquake Ghukasyan organized the opening of his hotel, which got a bad feedback among Gyumri residents and all Armenians.
