Roads and mountain passes are mainly open to traffic in Armenia as of Feb. 1, 13:00pm, according to the Ministry of Transport and Communication. Selim Mountain Pass still remains impassable due to bad weather. Aragats-Tsaghkahovit, Gyumri-Lanjik highways are hard to pass. Snow clearing works are underway all over the country.

The Ministry of Transport urges drivers to use winter tires.

Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Lars Highway in Georgian territory is closed due to heavy snowfall. The traffic is stopped for every kind of vehicles, the Ministry of Emergency Situations informs.
