The Government tries to show Serzh Sargsyan as if it does work - ANC member Hrant Bagratyan.

During today's government session a decision was made, with which begins the creating process of opening free economic zones. What are these economic zones in real? To make clarifications connected with this issue, Lurer.com talked with ANC member, RA former PM economist Hrant Bagratyan.
“In general I think that Armenia does not need any free economic zones. Armenia is a small country and the whole country should be in the regime of fee economic zone. There is free customs zone, free trade zone, free tax zone, etc. There are different things.
These zones don't give anything. They work only in big countries, which have large territories. This is my deep conviction. In other words, it means that everything that now exists is not free… And what will exist in future, will it be free? Free economic zones may be specific to China or Russia."
To the question whether this decision can be considered wrong, Bagratyan said, “There is even no need to discuss this issue. It has the tendency of diverting attention, as if they work.
The government tries to show president Serzh Sargsyan, as if it does work, using the fact that the president is unable to deepen into such issues.”
