As photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan informed LURER.com from Armenia's Vagharshapat city, yesterday, on Feb. 4, at about 20:55, Vagharshapat police department received a call from the city's medical center that a dead young man was transferred to hospital. The police launched to the hospital, found out that the victim was Vagharshapat resident Artak Simonyan, 26. The forensic doctor informed that the man died as a result of shot.

The journalist was informed, that the incident occurred in the city's Charents street, next to an automotive spare parts's store. The victim's father is engaged in the trade of automotive spare parts in Vagharshapat.

The police is carrying out investigative-operative measures to detect the person committing the crime and find out the circumstances.
A criminal case is launched in Vagharshapat police department.
