Russia, US to exchange missile launch information.

Itar-Tass - Russia and the United States will exchange telemetric information about ballistic missile launches.

An agreement to that end was signed during the Geneva-held bilateral consultations on implementing the START-3 Treaty, the State Department has said.

The parties to the consultations that have since drawn to a close have agreed the number of missile launches that they will exchange information on, as well as the amount of such information. The new START came into force in February last year. It provides for drastic reductions of Russian and US nuclear arsenals.
