Hearings on Armenian police Major General are scheduled for February 16.

The court hearing, into the case of former Police Major General Hovhannes Tamamyan will be held on February 16, 15:00pm instead of February 17, photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan informed LURER.com.
Chief of the Police Force Criminal Investigation Department Tamamyan is under custody since March 24, 2011, and he is charged with abuse of power.
As LURER.com informed earlier, the investigation with respect to Hovhannes Tamamyan is over, Special Investigation Service (SIS) informed. SIS added that Tamamyan finds himself to be innocent. Also, the period of his detention, which is already extended four times, expired last month.
