Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) Ministry of Defense is investigating the case of a soldier who was periodically beaten in a NKR Army Unit, this information was stated on the Facebook page of Armenian Human Rights Defender’s staff.

According to them, the Human Rights Defender of NKR also follows this case.

Citizen Karine Kirakosyan called to the Human Rights Defender’s office on Wednesday and informed that her son is being beaten periodically by the officers of a Karabakh Army Unit. Soldier Kirakosyan, 20, even had informed his imprisoned father about his problems a few days ago.

In the statement of Human Rights is mentioned that the caller has changed her name snd surname.
