"Zhoghovurd": The Republic party postpones its congress.

The paper says it has learned from sources that the Republic party, one of the political forces represented in the opposition Armenian National Congress (ANC), has rescheduled its congress which was set to place in late January or early February.

Speaking to the paper, the leader of the party, Aram Sargsyan, said he had already announced they would hold the congress after the ANC makes tits proportional and majority candidates' list public. He reportedly said the party’s political board had deemed such delay necessary.
