PM Tigran Sargsyan received new OSCE Head.

Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan today received newly appointed Head of the Office of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) in Yerevan, Ambassador Andrey Sorokin.
The Prime Minister congratulated the newly appointed Head of the OSCE Office on the occasion of his appointment and wished him success.
"I am certain that you will be able to continue the traditions that have been established. The Armenian government is interested in expanding our cooperation," Sargsyan mentioned.
In his turn, Sorokin highly appreciated the active efforts of the OSCE Office in Yerevan and assured that he would work with the Office personnel to deepen and enhance the effective cooperation between Armenia and the OSCE.
The interlocutors discussed the details on the introduction of the Armenian government's "Regulatory Guillotine" instrument for rapid reforms. Tigran Sargsyan thanked the OSCE Office in Yerevan for undertaking the initiative and supporting its implementation. On 3 November 2011, the Government of the Republic of Armenia and international organizations signed a letter of intention on raising the level of efficiency of Armenia's economic governance through a regulatory guillotine.
The sides also exchanged views on cooperation in improving the electoral process in Armenia. The head of government of the Republic of Armenia highly appreciated the efforts of the OSCE/ODIHR (Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights) in the programs being implemented for legislative reforms, gender equality, human rights and democracy in Armenia, reports the Department of Information and Public Relations of the RA Government.
