Armenian environmentalist ends hunger strike (Video).

One of the environmentalists who decided to go on hunger strike on Tuesday said he ended it after was promised that construction of boutiques in Mashtots Park would be terminated.

Bayandur Poghosyan told the reporters that he was told by a law enforcer that the construction would be stopped in downtown Yerevan.

“I came to the park at 3 am, there were no construction works there,” he said.

On Tuesday Bayandur Poghosyan said he would go on eight-day hunger strike protesting against the construction of boutiques in Mashtots Park in Yerevan.
