The Crimea may switch over to Moscow time. The people of the Crimea will have to decide that in a referendum slated for May 30, the press office of Volodymyr Konstantinov, the Crimean parliament’s speaker, told Itar-Tass on Monday.
The presidium of the Crimean parliament discussed the forthcoming referendum at a meeting on Monday.
“A possibility of transferring the Autonomous Republic of Crimea to Moscow time may be one of the questions voters will have to answer at the referendum,” the Crimean parliament’s press office said.
At present, Moscow has a two-hour time difference with the Crimea.
