Fire in Yerevan house; 2 survivors reported

An apartment fire in Yerevan’s Acan-Arinj administrative district left two people with burns on Monday morning.

The incident was reported to the Ministry of Emergency Situations at 5:54 am local time.

Two rescue teams, which went to the scene, managed to isolate the fire at 6:34 am and put it out about twenty minutes later.

The apartment’s guest-room (25 sq. m.) was burnt.

The survivors were identified as H.B. (25) and G. A., who received medical assistance right on the spot.
