Ukrainian president Yanukovich to make a public statement Tuesday - sources

Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovich, ousted in an armed uprising in February, will make a statement on Tuesday afternoon in the southern Russian city of Rostov-on-Don, sources in Yanukovich’s entourage said Monday.
The sources told Itar-Tass that the time and venue would be named later.
After Yanukovich’s ouster, Ukraine’s parliament took over, appointed a new interim head of state and approved a new government. Russia does not recognize the new Ukrainian authorities saying they are illegitimate.
