Rusal-Armenia Company issued a release on Wednesday on the approval of a waste storage project in the Hrazdan gorge.

Public sector representatives did not take part in the hearing. Environmentalists refused to take part despite citizens’ complaints.

The draft project was approved without any objections. Aram Sayadyan, an official of Armenia’s Ministry of Nature Protection was the only one that objected to one point of the draft project.
