Vietnamese and Malaysian planes have not found wreck of the missing Boeing 777-200 of Malaysian Airlines in the area of its alleged crash, Reuters news agency reported on Thursday.
Malaysian air force chief Rodzali Daud has confirmed these reports.
The search operation was carried out in the South China Sea, where Chinese satellites earlier located several unidentified objects. According to China’s Committee for Defense Science, Technology, and Industry, Gaofen-1 high-resolution satellite for remote sensing of the Earth on March 9 had spotted three objects floating on the surface of the South China Sea in the search area.
