No room for the babies! Anna Paquin tries out her twins' new bike stroller as Stephen Moyer peddles her around

It's the perfect size for transporting two busy little toddlers.

But Poppy and Charlie will have to wait until mom has had a go.

Stephen Moyer loaded wife Anna Paquin in the front of the family's cargo bike and took her for a spin in the beachside neighbourhood of Venice in Los Angeles on Thursday.

The True Blood couple appeared to be trying out the contraption, which has two wheels at the front and one at the back, as a possible conveyance for their one-year-old twins.

Anna, 31, certainly seemed comfortable and unconcerned about her safety as she chatted on the phone while her handsome hubby did all the hard work. 

Both Anna and Stephen, 44, love cycling and are often seen riding their bikes together along Abbot Kinney, the main shopping street near where they live.

The hunky actor could pop the twins in the front of the cargo bike while Anna follows along on her own bike.

The pair are frequently seen out in the area with their cute children.

They usually pop them into a 12-wheeled double stroller and take turns pushing as they go shopping or just enjoy some exercise.

On Sunday, Anna and Stephen each grabbed one of the tots and tucked them safely in pouches on their chests as they carried them around.

The loved up couple started dating in 2007 after meeting on the set of the pilot for HBO's vampire tale, True Blood, in which Stephen plays Vampire Bill, the love interest of Sookie Stackhouse, Anna's character.

They announced their engagement in August 2009 and were married the following August in Malibu, California.

True Blood will return this summer for its seventh and final season.
