Three policemen injured in clash with extremists in Istanbul

Three policemen were injured in Istanbul during an operation to arrest militants of extremist group Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
The operation was held last night in the Ümraniye district. The police raided the houses as part of an operation targeting ISIS cells.
Law enforcement officers were wounded during the fighting with militants. They are hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
Two suspects were also taken to the hospital.
