Israel, Azerbaijan sign $1.6 billion arms deal.

Israel will provide modern military equipment to Azerbaijan in cost of $1.6billion, Iranian “MEHR” news agency reported referring to “Washington Post” daily.

An Israeli defense ministry employee informed that Israel and Azerbaijan have reached an agreement according to which Azerbaijan will buy unmanned aircrafts, air defense systems and modern military equipment.

“Iran has urged Azerbaijan to clear its territory from Israeli special services who hold anti-Iranian activities there,” the story reads.
