Russia will provide one million dollars in aid to hurricane-hit Cuba

Russia will provide one million US dollars in humanitarian assistance to Cuba, hit by Hurricane Sandy in October 2012.
Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev signed a resolution to this effect on Wednesday.
“One million dollars will be contributed to the UN Development Programme to provide assistance to Santiago de Cuba Province in restoring housing,” the resolution says.
