The session of the Government of the Republic of Armenia, which started at 11 a.m., is presided by the Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia, the acting Minister of Territorial Administration of the Republic of Armenia Armen Gevorgyan. As “Armenpress” reports there are 52 issues on the agenda of the sitting.
Previously it was reported that the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Tigran Sargsyan introduced his resignation to the President Serzh Sargsyan. The executive body of the ruling party accepted his resignation. Eduard Sharmazanov noted that the Prime Minister introduced the application of his resignation a month ago, but since negotiations were ongoing around the Customs Union, the international economic conference of Armenia’s ruling party should be organized, the President asked him to stay in the office for some time. “The Prime Minister said that the resignation was conditioned by personal reasons,” Eduard Sharmazanov said adding that no discussions were held upon the new Government.
