"Yerkir": No doctor at Vanadzor penitentiary institution.

There has been no doctor at Vanadzor penitentiary institution for almost a year. Member of observer group, lawyer Edmon Marukyan told Yerkir that it is medical nurses that give a conclusion for a prisoner to be transferred to a prison cell. They have not qualified as doctors. They fail to admit a new doctor to work after the previous doctor left, because the salary is very low and the working conditions are bad, said Marukyan.
