Armenian conscript dies in Aleppo

An Armenian conscript serving in the Syrian Army died in Aleppo in Wednesday morning. Our source in Aleppo informed “Armenpress” about this saying that the incident occurred in Ramusieh district of Aleppo. The name of the deceased soldier is Koko Ashnaglian, who has not yet turned 20. The burial ceremony will be held today at 14:00 in Holy Trinity (Zvartnots) Church.


Previously “Armenpress” reported that Christian districts Bab Tuma and Duela in Damascus were subjected to bombing. Syrian SANA agency stated that the bombs fell on schools, due to which one child died and 41 were injured. According to the UN data, the number of casualties in the Syrian conflict lasting 3 years exceeds 130 thousand, over 80 of them are Armenians.
