Criminal case has been initiated over exceeding official authorities, committed with violence

RA Special Investigation Service has initiated a criminal case under the 2nd part of the 309th article of RA Criminal Code according to the materials prepared in the investigation department of Shirak region of the GID of RA Police on the basis of the reports of the prisoners R. M and A. M, given in Yerevan city Department of RA Police.
The prisoners have reported that in October 2013, when they were brought to the Police station of Mush of the city Gyumri of Shirak regional department of RA Police on suspicion of committing banditry, the police officers used violence towards them for the purpose of extorting confession evidence.
Preliminary investigation is underway.
