Armenia’s Minister of Agriculture Sergo Karapetyan participated in a consumer’s cooperative council in Armenian Gegharkunik region on Tuesday.

According to the information of the Ministry of Agriculture, the Minister mentioned that in the framework of the World Bank’s ‘Resourse Management and Competitiveness of Agricultural Community’ project, 33 entreprises have been already created.

As Sergo Karapetyan mentioned, there are many problems but with the support of the Armenian president some of them were solved.

Due to the support of the government, 14.1 per cent growth was registered in the sphere. This year farmers will pay AMD 6,000 ($16) for nitrogenous fertilizer.
