Turkey’s MFA pleased by French Constitutional Council’s decision.

Turkey’s MFA released a statement in connection to the decision of the French Constitutional Council.

Correction of a horrible error by the France’s highest body is pleasing, the statement reads, Turkish Zaman reports.

To note, the Council recognized anti-constitutional the bill criminalizing denial of the Armenian Genocide in France on Tuesday.

At the same time, the French President Nikolas Sarkozy assigned to elaborate a new bill taking into account the Council’s decision.
