In Baku ICRC representatives met with Injighulyan and 5-member Armenian family

The representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) met with the prisoner of war Hakob Injighulyan and the 5 members of a family detained in Azerbaijan. As reports "Armenpress", the Head of the Press Service of the ICRC Delegation in Azerbaijan Ilaha Huseynova informed ANS PRESS news agency that the meeting took place on April 29 in Baku. During the meeting the captives detained in Azerbaijan received information about their families. Messages containing information about them will be forwarded to the family members.

Last year, in the night of August 7-8, a soldier of the Armenian Armed Forces Hakob Injighulyan, who was lost in the Armenian-Azeri border-line because of the darkness, accidentally crossed the border of Azerbaijan and was captured by the locals. Besides, in Azerbaijan a family of 5 members, citizens of Armenia - Yeghishe, Ruzanna, Alfred, Gayane and Petros Gevorgyans, arebeing detained. They crossed the border near Nakhijevan.
