Past year foreign investments in Armenia totaled around AMD 6 billion.

PM Tigran Sargsyan chaired the board session of the Armenian Development Agency (ADA) Company.

ADA Director Robert Harutyunyan presented the Agency’s 2011 activity report. He informed that in the year past the direct foreign investments totaled around AMD 6 billion (approx. US$ 15,429,608) and export stimulus was about AMD 3.9 billion (approx. $10,029,245). Also, business forums and exhibitions were held, and information assistance was provided.

The session participants also discussed the mechanism for the strategy of the industrial export policy.

PM Sargsyan commissioned ADA Director to prepare the strategy for 2012 Action Plan, and to submit it in the next session.
