Ukraine has deployed 15,000-strong military force near Russia’s borders, Russian Deputy Defense Minister Anatoly Antonov said.
At the same time, Russia has pulled back from the border with Ukraine even tactical military forces which performed training tasks at firing ranges, Antonov told ITAR-TASS on Thursday.


“To avert further provocations, we have drawn back from the border (with Ukraine) even tactical military forces which performed training tasks at firing ranges. The Russian defense minister informed the US counterpart (US Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel) about this in a telephone conversation,” he noted.
