Ukraine's President Viktor Yanukovych has urged the Kiev authorities to withdraw mercenaries and troops from Donetsk, Luhansk, Odessa and other regions, to stop violence and terror against their own people, said a statement by Yanukovych obtained by ITAR-TASS on Monday.
Kiev's "murderous junta" has already killed more than 300 pecaeful citizens in Ukraine, Yanukovych said.
"The absolute majority of Donbas residents came to a referendum to cast their votes for any type of statehood, apart from the one that allows naming your own citizens terrorists and starting to kill them unlawfully, because the patience of the Ukrainian people has already run out," Yanukovych added.
