2015 to be full of enterprises dedicated to Armenian Genocide anniversary: Vigen Sargsyan

The fourth sitting of the state committee dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide will be held on May 27, and the performed work, suggestions, as well as the list of programs for the next year will be presented to the President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan. Prior to that meeting, on May 26 at the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute the meeting of the Regional Committee for regulating the events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide took place, which was attended by the representatives of the Armenian Apostolic Church Dioceses, diaspora communities and
diplomats.

“Armenia with its diaspora is one thing and quite another thing without it. You bear the power, that makes the voice of three million people audible throughout the world” - reports “Armenpress”, citing the Head of the President’s Staff Vigen Sargsyan’s quotation of President Serzh Sargsyan's speech, adding that the committee's work is important not only for the remembrance, but also for the possibility of emphasizing Armenia’s role and place in the international arena.
