Bear found in Yerevan's Halabyan street rendered harmless

On May 26, at 11.00 p.m., a call was received at the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia saying that in Halabyan Street, No. 22/1, near the swimming pool "White Center", a bear was noticed and a rescue team is needed. As "Armenpress" was informed from the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the specialized rescue groups arrived at the place. They rendered the bear harmless, and the zoo staff that also arrived at the place transported the animal to a safe area.
