Russian gas giant Gazprom will launch a German underground gas storage in September-November, Gazprom Export CEO Alexander Medvedev said Tuesday.
The storage now operates in a test mode and its capacity stands at 113 million cubic meters of gas. By 2017, Gazprom plans to raise the capacity to about 600 million cubic meters.
Gazprom said earlier that it will launch gas depots in several European countries to ensure uninterrupted supplies.
