Arayik Tunyan was appointed member of the Constitutional Court by the closed ballot of the Parliament. This was informed by the Chairman of the Temporary Counting Commission Sukias Avetisyan. “68 MPs participated in the voting, 3 of which voted against and 65 in favor of the candidacy of Arayik Tunyan" – reports “Armenpress”, citing Avetisyan. He announced that at the result of the voting Arayik Tunyan was appointed member of the Constitutional Court. Speaker of the Parliament of the Republic of Armenia Galust Sahakyan considers Tunyan a highly educated person and, according to him, the most important thing is that he is not politicized. "I personally know Arayik Tunyan, I know his qualities and I have offered his candidacy.
