Putin considers Germany important partner for strengthening peace, stability

Russia’s President Vladimir Putin said Germany was an important partner for strengthening peace and global and regional stability.
“We value Russian-German relations and the high level of trade and economic cooperation,” Putin said at a ceremony of receiving credentials from foreign ambassadors on Friday.
Russia stands for further development of multilateral cooperation with Germany and attaches great importance to the Russian-German bilateral years of language and literature in 2014-2015, he said.

Relations with Kazakhstan
Russia intends to intensify cooperation with Kazakhstan in all spheres in compliance with the Treaty of Good-Neighborliness and Allied Relations, Putin said.
Kazakhstan remains Russia’s major partner and strategic ally, the president added. “We praise open and trust-based relations with Kazakhstan in all fields,” he said.
“Eurasian integration and the formation of the Eurasian Economic Union that starts working from January 1, 2015 meet the countries’ common interests,” Putin stressed.

Cooperation with Libya
Putin also praised the relations between Russia and Libya. Moscow seeks to restore close trade and energy cooperation with Tripoli, he said. Russia also wants to expand military-technical cooperation, the Russian president added.
“We praise the development of relations with Libya,” he said. “We support the Libyan authorities’ efforts aimed at stabilizing the situation in the country and ensuring national accord,” Putin said.

Relations between Russia and Pakistan
Russian companies are ready to implement promising energy and metallurgy projects in Pakistan, Putin noted. He stressed that Russia attaches great importance to cooperation with Pakistan.
“Russia is ready to work on promising projects with Pakistan, including in the energy sector and metallurgy - the industries that were being created with Russian specialists’ participation,” he said.
Among other spheres of cooperation Putin named the fight against terrorism and drug trafficking.
