Armen Hayrapetyan appointed Deputy Minister of Diaspora of Armenia

Upon the decision of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Hovik Abrahamyan, Armen Hayrapetyan was appointed the Deputy Minister of Diaspora of the Republic of Armenia. Armen Hayrapetyan was born on May 7, 1961 in Yerevan.
In 1978, he graduated from the secondary school after Yeghishe Charents in Yerevan.
In 1983, he graduated from the History and English Department of the Institute of Russian and
Foreign Languages after V. Bryusov in Yerevan.
In 1983-85, he has served in the border guard forces. He has been ranked as a reserve officer.
In 1985-87, he has worked as a history teacher at the secondary school in Dimitrov village of
Artashat region.
In 1987-91, he has worked as an instructor, a sector chief, as well as deputy head of the department for international relations and cooperation with the Diaspora of the
Central Committee of the Armenian Lenin Communist Youth Union.
In 1991, he established and headed Mark International LTD in Moscow.
In 1996, he was one of the co-founders of Mark International LTD in Yerevan.
In 1997, he was appointed Honorary Consul of the Republic of Eastern Uruguay in the Republic of Armenia.
He is fluent in English and Russian.
He is married with two children.
