Look, no tongue! Miley Cyrus strips down to just her Daisy Dukes as she posts topless Instagram photo

She's a big fan of sticking her tongue out and parading around in skimpy outfits.

And fans weren't disappointed on Monday as Miley Cyrus partook in a little of both of her favourite pastimes in a series of photos on her Instagram.

The twerking starlet shared a risque photo wearing nothing but a pair of Daisy Dukes after posting a couple of classic tongue-tastic selfies.

The 21-year-old popstrel posed against a backdrop of desert and turned her back to the camera flashing peace signs with both hands.

Miley looked supper slender in the high-waisted shorts and tied her short locks into a knot at the top of her head - which seems to be her signature look these days.

She opted not to caption the snap, instead letting the imagery of her toned physique against the rugged landscape speak for itself.

Earlier in the day she shared a selection of other images, including a bizarre selfie featuring a band aid adorned with a flower and butterfly which she used to cover a spot on her face. She captioned: 'Making an ugly pimple pwetty'

In another shot, the Wrecking Ball singer takes a selfie from above, looking tired with dark circles under her eyes and wearing colourful braids in her cropped hair.

She flashes her tummy in a white cropped top and covers up with a garish floral shirt. A gold chain with flower pendant hangs around her neck.

Meanwhile, rumours continue to circulate about her involvement with music producer Mike Will Made-It.

According to Us Weekly the pair have been secretly dating for nine months with a source telling the magazine: 'Everybody in her circle knows they've been together this whole time.'

And although they live on opposite coasts with Miley in LA and Mike in Atlanta, GA, the couple: 'talk and text all day, every day.'

The former Disney star is currently on a break from her raunchy Bangerz World Tour.

She played her last show on June 22 in Amsterdam and is relaxing at home before the next leg begins on August 1st in Long Island, New York.

The 20-song concert featuring provacative outfits, a cast of furry friends and the singer riding a giant hot dog will then hit Mexico, Brasil and Australia before winding down on October 23rd.
