Fire in Mergelyan Institute`s stone workshop (Photos).

As photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan informed LURER.com from the scene, on March 8, at about 15:50 local time, RA Ministry of Emergency Situations` crisis control department received a call that a stone workshop was in fire in Yerevan`s Kalentsi street, on the first floor of the National Institute of Mathematical Machines after Mergelyan.

2 fire brigades were dispatched for the scene.  In a short time the firefighters managed to extinguish the fire. Shamshyan informed that as a result of fire 2 processing machines and a shelf were burned down. People gathered at the scene informed Shamshyan that the workshop belonged to Vahagn Manukyan.
