Ukraine President Petro Poroshenko has asked Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko to provide a platform for trilateral talks. Poroshenko’s press office said this on Wednesday.
The meeting devoted to seeking ways out of the situation in Ukraine’s east is expected to unite Ukraine former president Leonid Kuchma, Russian Ambassador to Ukraine Mikhail Zurabov and an OSCE representative in Minsk on July 31.
OSCE’s proxy told ITAR-TASS the trilateral contact group meetings were confidential.
On Tuesday, Lukashenko’s press office reported about a telephone conversation between the two presidents about the place for the group meeting.
