Ministry of Emergency Situations informs roads of inter-state significance and mountain passes are barely passable as of 08:30, March 9. Black ice is possible in some parts of the roads.

Selim mountain pass is closed, Berd-Chambarak road in Tavush, highways to Jrambar village in Aragatsotn, and roads to Gegharquniq are barely passable.

Ministry of Emergency Situations highly recommends not to drive to those directions.

Intensive road cleaning work is being carried out.

Georgia’s Interior Ministry released information on March 7 that the weather has significantly deteriorated and bad visibility is possible. Mtskheta-Stepanysminda-Lars road is not passable.
