President of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic Bako Sahakyan received chairman of the Union of Italian Armenians Payqar Svazyan and the Italian philanthropist of Armenian origin Saro Khodaverdi.

The issues related to establishing close cooperation with the Republic in different fields were discussed during the meeting.

President Sahakyan underlined the necessity of developing relations with the Armenian community of Italy noting its significance for further strengthening of inter-Armenian ties.

Minister of education and science Vladik Khachatryan, minister of culture and youth affairs Narine Aghabalyan were present at the meeting.
