Closed, barely passable roads recorded in Armenia.
Emergency Case
Armenia’s interstate highways and mountain passes are drivable, for the most part, as of Wednesday at 10 a.m.
But there is black ice on some road sections, the Ministry of Emergency Situations informs.
Selim Mountain Pass, the Berd-Chambarak Highway, and the local roads of several villages in the Aragatsotn and Gegharkunik regions are closed.
The Alagyaz-Tsaghkahovit Highway and the local road of Vardablur village are difficult to pass.
Snow removal and road cleaning are in progress.
And according to the information received from Georgia’s Emergency Situations Department, as of Wednesday at 10 a.m., the weather has considerably deteriorated in Georgia; and there is low visibility and a danger of avalanche.
The Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Larsi Highway, which leads to the Armenian border, is closed.
